I'm similar to you hunting multiple states for birds every year. I just don't like NR camping in states and pounding the piss out of everything. I would like to see a 7 day upland license ONLY in MT, personally, on top of the other limits in this bill. -

All in a day's work
So I took my 11 year old son this morning to do some dog training with me. His job was to throw birds/bumpers for our black lab retriever in training. Banks is doing great. He's a great retriever, brings birds to the hand. His pointing is coming along, still some work to do if you're into style, but he has zero issues finding birds and holding. Young Bird Dog (hopefully)
Dogs can be pets and hunters. It really helps if you can be its person, tho. First nine months I just let them be puppies and learn all the basics at an easy pace. The only thing critical is don't scare them. You stand a chance of making a dog, that would not have been, gun shy if you catch it...- howl
