Old growth Fir, near West Yellowstone, Montana. Circa 1980. This tree was 700 years old. I still have the saw, a 2100 Husqvarna with a 36” bar. Still runs great…it sure feels heavier than it used to…;)
I’ve always liked Douglas Fir, other than the bark can be a little messy.
This was the north end of the Bridgers a few decades ago. Bud worm killed stand of Fir.
And what about primers? 80K PSI directed through a tiny flash hole, into a thin brass primer cup...
Anyone ever pierce a primer?
