A cow elk is gonna give you around $1500 worth of meat. Is an extra $10 a pound on powder worth it when the opportunity comes ?

Between the 280 AI and 6.5 PRC I think I’d go with the heavier bullet of the 280. I haven’t seen your load data, but I would expect the ballistics to be damn near identical with the 139 grain retaining more energy down range.
