Average/preferred whitetail rifle weight for blind/stand hunting
My smart @ss gunsmith buddy advised me to quit b#tching about a couple extra pounds of rifle and suggested that if I wanted to pack less around I could easily take a few pounds off myself. He wasn't wrong :( -

Can't say that I've ever weighed a rifle, but for the type of hunting you describe, weight shouldn't be an issue anyway. -

Red Ear are heating up.

Replacing a boat floor
Ran into the same issue when replacing the plywood transom sandwiched between aluminum in back of my old Lund. One less pistol on my wish list
Heard all the hype and I purchased that same gun, nearly identical. It shoots fine, but I'm not too fond of it. The whole gun itself is just too small for me to shoot comfortably. Prefer a larger framed handgun. -

New To Slug Guns Need Some Input
Check around the midwest where many states have in recent years switched from slug gun regs to centerfire rifles. Very few are using shotguns setup for slugs and they can be acquired pretty cheap. The gun shops and gun shows are full of them. -
