I primarily fish for trout usually rivers, some lakes. I mostly use a 9 foot leader, with no tippet. Once changing flies (or breakoffs) gets me down to 7 to 8 feet, i tie on about 3 feet of tippet. Always try to do it BEFORE the taper on the leader
Lawyer. All states are different. Protect yourself and what you want done. Prevent those that will come out of the woodwork. Talk about medical decisions, power of attorney etc.
