It is a joke. But it fits the trend that has been evolving for the last 8 years (and in reality the last 16 counting Hickenlooper) of methodically chipping away at 2A rights, hunting, and now trapping rights while embracing more and more "feel good" policies of the welfare state mentality...
Per your earlier comment, take guns/2A out of the equation - what I see as the underlying issue is if parents can/are held responsible for their underage children's actions (bad, good, indifferent), then parents also need to have clear authority over their children in all aspects. That includes...
My first trip was essentially after the COVID stuff so I can't comment on that aspect. Costs are dependent on your age, overall trip cost (or the portion you want to cover), and strangely enough, where you reside in the US. Maybe that is to reflect potential extraction costs. Also depends on...
I had insurance for my 2024 Canada moose hunt and will have it for my 2026 Canada moose hunt. Big consideration is to cover costs of an emergency extraction event. Last minute cancellation due to health issues was secondary for me.
I'm getting 2807 fps (avg) out of a 22" barrel with 165-gr TBT's and 45.2 gr of Varget. Std Dev is 10.2 fps based on a 40-shot sample size. Sub 0.75 MOA.
Look up enhanced RealID. Then combine with H.R. 22 below (bold and italics are mine for emphasis). That's the point. You stated RealID is irrelevant. H.R. 22 says otherwise.
H.R. 22 - SAVE Act Sec.2.b. - Documentary proof of United States citizenship.—As used in this Act, the term...
Two things - 1) I wouldn't solely rely on AI for any bit of information (nor MSN but that is a different conversation) and 2) the proposed SAVE act references the REAL ID Act of 2005 which is now 20+ years old.
Beyond that, I am not tracking your response. Per AZ Govt, their RealID fully...
H.R. 22 - SAVE Act
Sec.2.b. - Documentary proof of United States citizenship.—As used in this Act, the term ‘documentary proof of United States citizenship’ means, with respect to an applicant for voter registration, any of the following:
“(1) A form of identification issued consistent with the...
No disagreement. So what? The effort to go through the process of legally changing one's surname is far more cumbersome than saving or obtaining the certificate that shows you did it.
Nothing stopping states from scaling up their processing to shorten response times, particularly if it now has a direct bearing on their citizens ability to vote going forward. Your state/local Govt works for you, if it is a priority to you and your fellow state/local citizens, then it becomes...
Interesting ...
I can ask AI whether AZ RealID is valid and get the following:
Yes, an Arizona Travel ID can serve as proof of citizenship, as it complies with federal REAL ID requirements. It is accepted for identification purposes, including at TSA airport security checkpoints.
Arizona...
Fair enough. But using the logistical problems your wife encountered as a basis for an opinion that voter ID will "disenfranchise millions of american" (sic) is more than a bit of a stretch. If millions of americans can't get a voter ID because local (or state or federal) government is that...
I found this little tidbit to be interesting. Received this link from a "middle of the road democrat" (his term) friend of mine since I don't do the social media thing, other than HT on occasion. Some will dismiss it as being cherry picking. Perhaps it is, I haven't seen the whole episode and...
RL-16 is slower than Ramshot Big Game from what I can see; and RL16 and RL17 are nearly the same in terms of speed. Looking at the Barnes reloading data for the 139-gr LRX, you'll generally get faster velocities with the slower powders on their list but that is also with a 24-inch barrel. A...
Some of you have an enviable year ahead of you. For me ....
For sure plans:
- Spring Turkey in CO
- Deep sea fishing off of SC coast in June
- Moose in northern BC in September
- Hiking with the wife for several weeks through Bavaria, Austrian/Italian Alps, and parts of Switzerland
Highly...
I have two that have worked very well for me.
165 gr Trophy Bonded Tip; 43.4 gr Varget; 2820 fps; 0.75 MOA - Elk at 181 and 243 yds, deer at 220 and 80 yds.
175 gr Terminal Ascent; 43.2 gr Varget; 2596 fps; 0.55 MOA - deer at 195 and 310 yds. Haven't taken it elk hunting with the TA load yet.
I'm running 175 TA's on my 308. Also the 165 TBT's. I can get well below 1 MOA with either. Great bullets. Couldn't find any 155 gr TA's for 7mm when I started developing a load. Found the CX-150's worked great and stayed with them. Otherwise I agree, just stay with the 7mm Rem Mag.
