nothing personal intended here but I feel the FWP has ruined public land hunting in Montana and we need to quit shooting doe and fawn antelope. The populations just don't support the quotas and the issuance of doe fawn tags is kind of in your face saying if you want to play you will pay. So much... -

What are your 2025 Hunting Plans
Third hunt also turned out well. I took my 11-year-old and we had a good experience in Utah. We worked our way into some bugling bulls, pulled in a big one, then about 40+ elk came running into us.- Hawk Tuah

No, I already have a grip load of tags this year but wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity on a Co antelope tag. I think 3 bull tags, 1 cow tag, 1 antelope buck tag, 1deer buck, 1 deer doe tag in 4 different states is probably enough…- Dsnow9

Arizona 2nd choice
Well I see you have the NE moose states listed. How many years there? NH was my last good random draw, after which I bowed out. But it was an amazing adventure! Not only did I beat the 1% draw odds, but also 15% odds of taking a 50”+ bull. Seems I wore out all my luck that one year. Still...- Zim

How many regions did you hunt?
Archery Elk: R1,2,3,4,5 Saw some really nice mature bulls/cows, public land. Rifle Elk: R3,4,5 Did not see a mature bull, public lands. Had antelope 700 Buck/doe but did not find time to go. Archery Deer: Same as elk but concentrated efforts on hunting elk. Rifle Deer: R2,3,4,5 Saw more mature...- Mtnhunter1

All the ones I've shot have been in the vicinity of ag operations, so yeah I assume so. If I could only eat antelope, I'd be happy, but I've had incredibly poor luck in the draws. One buck and one doe in 6 or 7 years of applying. But we had anteloaf last night and it was phenomenal.- Gulf of America

.....they'll come to kill an antelope doe, they'll see 20 antelope and think it's amazing, then move on to the next epic hunt in some other state. -

I'm on the same journey. With my in-line all I need is a bull elk (have killed a cow). Just started with my traditional BP and technically have killed a whitetail buck so far, even if I thought it was a doe when I killed it 😅. -

Which western states have been disproportionately good to you in drawing tags?
