2026 sasuage and processing thread
It was covered in a more recent post, but here's a video that may offer some insight. The key is to place your cased links on a wire rack and then place in the fridge over night or under a fan for a bit. This will dry out the twists and keep them in place. It helps the end texture of the casing imo- WestKyHunt

First lake hunt, bluebills, and teal for my new padawan. Stuck around to try and scrape out some more birds. With 90% or more of the birds on the lake being bluebills, there wasn't much around. A few buffleheads and goldeneyes skirted at 80yd. Not a bad day for 72°- WestKyHunt

Sh*t our wives do...
Not the point of the thread, but yall are over paying for soap. I buy a large container of dawn from Sam's maybe twice a year. Put a couple good tablespoons in a spray bottle and top off with water. Soap goes way farther and allows for even application with increased suds.- WestKyHunt
