    Nail it to a board.. nah just kidding.. freeze the breast, slice it super thin with a meat slicer, marinate it in whatever teriyaki/soy/ginger/garlic recipe you prefer and make broccoli duck with it. Super good. Key is hot and fast.

    Yup. In fact I’m thinking of putting a fancy wood stock on it and a scope with a gold ring this year. Got lots of 168 Bergers and 165 accubonds loaded for it. Tried some 168 hammers but haven’t shot anything with em yet. Supposed to do a Cali pig hunt with family one of these days.

    I’m a 30-06 fan. First rifle was a savage 110 30-06. Still got it 25 years later, still confident I could kill anything with it. You could find 30-06 ammo at a gas station hardware section.

    Seen em wind us at +1 mile on the flats. Like nothing between us and the elk but a mile of dirt and grass and the lead cow crosses our wind, looks right at us, and flips the whole herd.

    I usually have a sea to summit dry bag with extra layers/rain gear/gaiters/spare clothes that we use often as well. Works about as good as anything else and doubles as long as you don’t end up needing what’s inside.
