Most of the elk we saw were in E4, along the park west side boundary (between the cell tower on the south up to the petrified forest to the north) People always joked & said "just sit by the holes in the park fence", well, they weren't kidding. There are maintained "holes" in the fence & the elk would move off the park land in late afternoon.
