I've heard of that mod, it's on the list for sure. Did the Fass pump already, and the fixed the transfer case rub. Hoping to get a lot more out of it with a few more tweaks. -

The difference to me would be that monometal bullets have not been as widely used in the past as they are now, which might be why copper fouling wasn't as much of an issue. Stupidest Mistake Hunting
Went out quail hunting one weekend and ran into a huge flock of dove on the top of a mountain. Couldn't remember if the season was still open, and no reception to check. Got back to the truck and yep, it was the last open weekend for dove and we could've easily limited out. Now I never go out...- Vidimus

LASIK - Do It
Nice, I have a Leopold red dot and get the stretch when I look through it, but if I use the camera on my cell phone to view through the scope it shows up as a perfect dot. Prism style red dots are supposed to help with that too, in case anyone else is having the same issue, which I'm pretty sure...- Vidimus

I'm thinking that the curing shots pretty much function as fouling shots by forcing the bore coat into wherever copper normally would go. But since it's a hardened ceramic type compound maybe it offers more consistency then if you just allow the copper to foul naturally? I'm honestly not sure... -

LASIK - Do It
Have you looked through a red dot since this? My vision is better than 20/20 since lasic but when I look through a red dot sight it's blurry or fuzzy. Thinking it's from astigmatism though so that might be a different issue entirely.- Vidimus

Adding to the 100% go for it. When looking for a doctor try to find one that does free touchups if needed. Mine will do any if I need it, as long as I get an annual checkup. Haven't needed any and don't expect to but it's peace of mind. So glad I did it.- Vidimus
