A little over 9 lbs. I forgot to mention the barrel is tapered from 1 1/8" to 1" so that helps with the weight some.- Shorthair

That's been my thinking. There was a printed page from their website in the shooting bag that accompanied the rifle. There's a serial number hidden on the bottom flat. I'll have to call them up and see if they have a record of it.- Shorthair

Accurate Hawken reproduction who's original maker I am still trying to nail down. 54 caliber, 34.5" Getz barrel 1 1/8" across the flats. Even has the historically correct deep rifling, 7 lands and grooves with a 1:48" twist.- Shorthair

7mm-08: Personal Experience on Elk & Deer
My experience is limited to the smaller bodied deer here in central CA, but I've found the Barnes factory ammo 120 grain TTSX in my 7-08 to perform wonderfully. They've been hell on pigs too. -
