    Who had a misfire this year?

    Same thing happened to me this year. 7mm mag with cci primers. It’s the first one I have ever had with these primers. Ten years ago I used some Remington primers that every third shot was a dud.

    Anyone ever recover a high hit?

    I hit a mule deer buck that was high like that. I was able to watch it go bed luckily. It took over 6 hours of watching him before I decided to sneak in and get another shot. It ended up clipping one lung on exit.

    My daughter killed her first elk this year with 139 gr BTSP 7mm-08. She shoots the gun good so I decided 150-200 yards was max range.
