Used to hunt deer with a 1100 with Hastings rifled slug barrel. Found that tightening the barrel nut extreme tight was necessary for accuracy. I used channel locks with a rag on the nut to get a couple extra clicks.
Lost my Dad in 2017. He wasn’t an outdoorsman but he saw passion in me and took me fishing and hunting until I could go on my own. Took me a while to understand the importance of that.

Calling bobcats and coyotes gets me thru the winter. Settled in on a 17 wsm as my cat calling cartridge with the right blend of lethality with minimal damage after trying 223,204 and 22wmr. Reasonably accurate too.
