    Another interesting WY public access case

    If the grantor successfully sues to prevent access to public land if the grantee uses the easement. Couldn't that also mean the grantee would not be able to access any public land even if it butts up to the grantee's land ? After all , the easement was at one point used to get there.

    Well this is new to me

    The price is sure right. Less than $100.00 a piece for 1st time buyers. All 10 could hunt here for about what it costs for one of us to hunt there. I could see the group returning to Montana with a whole different idea of what poor pubic land hunting is REALLY like.

    If the ten of them get disgusted enough with Wisconsin public , they can hurry to get to the Custer for the last day or two of Montana's 5 week rut gun season and fill there trailer . The rut came to an abrupt end here last weekend but should still be going strong in region 7

    We always mark and number every tree we are interested in buying. Catalog every numbered tree with our estimated grade & scale. Always discuss skid routes usually land owners like to have some new trails cleared wich we can do.If the woods is in a program of some sort then the area DNR forester...

    I'm surprised the loggers want to buy anything except walnut. A high quality walnut tree is worth about 10 good white oak trees. I buy standing walnut and have been suggesting to land owners to hang on to the oaks until the price increases. Maybe the logger wants to lay out enough wood to get...

    I don't know about Russia but in some of those Northern Europe and Scandinavian countries what they call Elk are what we call Moose. Not that it makes any difference if one comes smashing through the windshield.

    I heard a thump on my window while stopped in traffic , looked over and found this little hitch hiker. Figured if I could ease over to a suitable spot I could send him on his way. No luck , he jumped off while I was still in traffic to probably seal his own fate. Win some , lose some.

    Good ol Trixies' I lived in one of the cabins there in 1979 when I was falling timber for one of the local loggers. Great times in a awesome area back then. Never even worried about Grizzlies south of the highway in those days!

    Was on the river yesterday and saw a big change . It was crowded. After having it nearly to myself lately with the higher water, folks were anxious to get out before the predicted rain.
