Southwest Wisconsin turkey hunt
My place is in zone 1. There is thousands of acres of public land close by and almost all of it is great turkey habitat but turkeys are not real numerous. I would have a plan b c d and e. By the 1st of May they have been hunted pretty hard already. If you can't pre scout, stay high and mobile...- johnp

Too cold for tractor?
Might not be gelled fuel, but instead frozen condensation in the tank icing up the fuel line. If there is a fuel drain petcock crack it open for a moment to see if there is ice in the fuel tank. Bad tank caps can cause that.- johnp

Very hard to tell what happened, there was some yellow on both shoulders but the scars looked like decent shot placement. When we detached the front legs there was no puss or bad area on the insides. There was so much healed over punctures all over plus a long scar on the neck it was hard to...
