Most of the new recruit game wardens here are assigned to urban or marine ares. Living in those areas is a world apart from the Northwoods or the southwest drift less counties. Nearly every area has great fishing and hunting possibilities . I am about as southwest in the state as you can...- johnp

Turkeys
Serious nasty storms around here the last couple of days. No gobbling this am early. A pair of Toms caught me napping when they came in about 11:00 am, an hour later with the help of some live decoys they came back. Was wide awake this time!- johnp
