AK Moose 2026

Great moose. The photo angle really displays how utterly massive the body is, like a boxcar.

You tried to tell me, but I didn’t listen.

I have seen more antelope in my limited travels out East recently. That doesn't mean squat. A few more than rock bottom still isn't good.

Yeah, fun terrain to hunt.

Used to be you could plant yourself in the middle and see antelope in every direction. Some whoppers too. Never saw much for deer, although every now and again a big boy might show up during rut. The antelope herd never recovered.

Back in early 2000's the PV was phenomenal. Anybody that remembers signing in with Dewey knows what im talking about. We hunted there for 5-6 years. Then it went to hell. Never went back.

Fly Tying/Fishing Thread

A little redemption today. Ive taken it on the chin since the last post. Caught a bunch, lost a handful using barbless. Very healthy, strong fish. One nearly in to the backing.

Rocky Mountain High

Hopefully @PoleX isn't twisting off in a tent up on the mountain.

Public Executions

Tent time...good chance to be master of your domain.🤣 Better than standing in the river during a sloppy sideways blizzard.
