It's sad really, I can't stand when anyone even uses the word "compromise". What the hell has our side ever gotten in any of these "compromises"?
People keep giving in to this "common sense" bs because it might not directly affect them but sooner or later the fight will be at their feet.
Unfortunately, my plans for this year have changed so I'm looking to find a new home for a brand new size medium MR Beartooth 80 in subalpine.
I'll ship it anywhere in the CONUS for $490. I can take payment via USPS MO or PayPal (please add 3% for PP or pay F&F).
I've got an older JM factory ported 45-70 that I absolutely love. After dealing with CS with the Remlin I bought a few years ago, i dont know that I'd ever give them another nickel again. Hopefully they've got the issues ironed out and you got a decent shooter.
In general, more difficult=more rewarding for most. It's a hobby, our survival doesn't depend on killing an animal for the most part.
I wouldn't say it isn't done in fishing. Seems like guys that catch billfish place a high value on the fight in the fish and difficulty getting it into the boat...
This is a good reason why I refuse to "compromise" on pretty much anything with progressives. Their "progress" isn't going to stop and sooner or later the fight will be over something you care about. Keep the fight as far away as possible and what the hell have hunters/gun owners ever gotten out...
