The B.A.D.A.S.S is underway
The bow arrived today!!! I wasn't totally confident. I won anything until it showed up. I guess, I'm more pessimistic then I realized. Yep, I'm heading down Thanksgivings day for a week. I'm hauling my little pop up camper and atv but not planning on using them much. -

First time AZ elk hunter (7E late)
I drew my first elk tag in AZ this year. It's a late season rifle bull tag in 7E. Does anyone have any insight into this area? Should I hunt them like Colorado elk or do they behave differently? My initial thoughts are to hike to the top of the Mtn and spike camp hunting the drainages. Thanks -

leftover late season cow tag for unit 31 in CO
I live just out side that area and spend a bit of time roaming the book cliffs. It's extremely steep and cliffed out in a lot of places. You will find elk down in the J&P year round. Find a remote corner and glass till your eyes hurt then glass some more. I have sat on a hill side all day... -
