Favorite reloading powders for hunting
At the moment my best powders are what I can find and group/ chono with good SD. Getting sub moa to 200 yards and decent velocity on my .308 IMR 4895. The .223 likes IMR4320.- danwolf

Availability for strings
Whichever brand you may prefer. Try calling them. I’ve bought strings from GAS that were on the shelf. -
Bow Sling or No?
Often times there’s other crap on my pack so I use a cover for the the string / cams and use my Montana bow sling. I love that combo. The brush is so dang thick in some spots I hunt and my strings get torn up quick if I don’t cover them. -
Should I change arrows?
I’d drop weight. A lighter shaft like the micro you’ve tried is a good way to do it. -
New Mexico Unit 22 Mule Deer

Favorite conceal carry choices
I’m in Texas and most of the time it’s hot and it’s t shirt weather. Most of the time I carry my Sig p365 with the flush pinky extension mag. Also have a Glock 19x I appendix carry. Has a longer grip for big hands and really like the balance of that pistol (g19 barrel and g17 grip) but find... -
2021 New Mexico results
Late to the chat here. I didn’t draw elk but I drew my 3rd choice first archery deer. I’m a bit excited as I normally drive through the unit as I head out to AZ for OTC mule deer hunt.- danwolf
