My big game hunting has all been for ungulates and I’m ready to try something new. Looking for suggestions/recommendations. Spring or fall? DIY or outfitter? I call south central Kansas home so I’m leaning towards Montana, Idaho, Oklahoma, or Arkansas; but would consider others as recommended.- Currycm

Wyoming Deer General A
Hunted hard the 26th thru 30th. Weather was incredibly mild for late November. Saw mulies and whitetails while driving but only whitetails on the ranch we were hunting. Unfortunately, only 3 of those were bucks so we took a pair of nice does yesterday morning. -

Wyoming Deer General A
Non-resident and drew a General A. Highly probable that I’ll have access to private land and would like to focus on a mule deer as I can take a good whitetail back home in Kansas. Any recommendations on timing to plan for?
