700 rifle tag
No great pics but i filled both tags yesterday and today. Buck was a little over 12" so no wall hanger boone and crocket but will go great with betty crocker! Havnt seen any real monsters lately. -

Custner National Forest-Ashland area vs BLM (Deer)
Same answer here as the rest. I hunt that area. You will be able to see just about every license plate there is. This year will propably be worse because of the bull shot last year and fwp over issueing cow tags. I may swing through there on my way home and scope things out, but i bet theres... -

2 gun do-all battery suggestions?
I have a lot of suggestions, but then dont we all. I just want to jump in and vouch for the 280 also. Very underated cartridge and i'm glad to see i'm not alone with my love affair. My go to is a browning xbolt medallion in 280. My 2 caliber choices would be 280 and 22-250. -

A few honkers bit it
Awsome. I miss goose hunting. I used to grind the breasts and make pepperoni sticks. For geese, where the recipe calls for water, I use apple cider. I have taken bags of honker pepperoni sticks to work and they never would believe it was goose. Always got ate quick though.- Cubguy
