I've got a Winter Bison tag for Northern Arizona. I am looking to use my .300 WinMag with 180g TTSX or 165g Nosler Accubonds. Does this sound like a reasonable caliber and bullet choice for Bison? Do I need to go bigger, say a 200g bullet?
Thoughts from the group would be appreciated.
Here in AZ, we have a late season hunt that runs from mid December to the end of January. The tags for the area are OTC. I didn't buy one this year because it's a new area for me and I'd rather scout thoroughly before venturing out on a hunt. While scouting I found a water hole that's not on...
I have the above scope in 15-45 x 60. It's served me well since purchasing it. I am however a little frustrated because I cannot seem to find a soft cover for the scope. Does anyone have any idea where I could find one?
Well, I wish I had a picture, but the guy camping near me just brought in a Bull elk from this unit that green scored 396, 8 x 7, one broken point on each side. That was impressive.

It's this weekend we all remember the sacrifices of our military and we cannot forget their families. When we're gone, they go through hardships and difficulties that are not expressible. So, this weekend, I want to say thank you to the men and women of our great military and the backbone that...
Semper Fi to your father and to all my other brother's and sister's in arms. You fight for all of us and we owe all of them a debt of gratitude. Whether said or not, you all are in our hearts. I know the spouses who remain at home go through a tremendous amount when we're gone. Without them...
