Hey All,

Just came back from the range after the initial firing of my newly built 300 BLK. Found something I've never experienced before in 40 years of shooting. A full 70% of the rounds had a complete primer ejection on firing. For the initial test fire, I was using Remington UMC 120g OTFB Supersonic rounds, Lot # L300AAC1.

First, I use my own reloads for most of my shooting. But, on this one, I elected to try factory ammo. Accuracy was OK. But, as I got it dialed in, I was fairly pleased. I am however, concerned about the primer blowout. Here's a picture of two of the rounds fired.

Has anyone experienced this before? My first thought is the rounds were overcharged. But, I'm open to ideas and thoughts from the group.
