A big problem I see is that we know how many R's and NR' apply for and get tags, but our FWP has no idea how many animals are harvested. Some randomly located check stations open two days a week from 8-5ish are where they get the harvest numbers. Oh, and the phone survey that people lie on...
I would love to know how many people are convicted of hunter harassment each year. My bet it's single digits if not zero. I run into it probably about every other year. Anybody know how to find that out? Anyone know of someone who has even been charged?
It pisses me off that FWP gets involved with issues that are not there's. Trespassing is not a game violation. Stay in your lane. A Sheriff isn't going to write you a ticket for not wearing orange. I'm fine with a game warden writing a trespass because you broke the law, but not them...
In 90% of corner crossing situations, how could you be prosecuted? If you turned off OnX and were within close proximity to the corner, how could there even be a case? There is nothing showing the corner and your position to it. They have zero proof to say you trespassed. I'm gonna play...
That and/or why doesn't BLM or states do it now knowing what they know? It would be cheap and easy. Between the two of them they could get all the high traffic crossings done in a couple years.
Not for $150 bucks and a dried out deer that hung in a cooler for months. I'd had to have taken off work, drive half way across the state, motel or sleep in my truck, etc.
Exactly. I've had some mishaps and I'll never report them. I accidentally cut 2 and a 1 out for the date instead of 21 on my tag, or something like that and they took my deer and fined me. I was honest with the warden and told him we had a problem. I understand the fine, but take my deer...
Sorry fellas, but the Sig Zulu 6's w/ the image stabilizing make more than the glass difference of Swaros. And they are lighter and they are way less expensive.
