I ran into one under a Montana block management sign in the morning (I got way to close in the dark) a few Septembers ago. I snapped the picture and hoped that would be sufficient for the sign in if/when the warden checked me. At night coming out in the dark it relocated to the other side of...
I mirror the thought on grip, draw cycle and backwall, you know when it all feels right. Long story short, lots of tendonitis in my left elbow from injuries as a youth. Vibrations with the new light weight bows turned out to be a big deal for me, my 15-year-old Bowtec was much heavier. I...
I pheasant hunt in north central part of SD. Typically, I don't see that many birds the third Saturday of October. Two weeks later we do see some. I have done the spring season and can mirror the other comments around 3+ days. I have done the conservation season in both Mound City Missouri...
My rescue lab started having them at about 7 years old. Working with my vet took her off the different medications and changed her food a number of times. She is on phenobarbital and Keppra. It has been very successful, but if she misses a pill, or the timing gets off, she is very susceptible...

I got a pair of the 16X Sigs and love them for handheld glassing or off a tripod in the wind. Where I was disappointed was in the Wisconsing woods out of the stand. The field of view is to narrow. I am contemplating saving up over the summer and get one of the lower power ones. The image...
This is pretty close to what I did for my 300 Weatherby, it was much more accurate below max, but still a slightly compressed load. I am giving up some speed (50fps vs max) but the accuracy was better. It was much easier that messing with seating depth.
I would clean the heck out of it...
Amazing story, hits home with me. Make sure you make as many memories with your Dad as you can. My dad passed away this year and I will be taking his rifle on my next antelope or deer hunt.
I have the Cabelas version, and not a huge fan of it. The pockets don't close well, and have to put the water bottles in the game pouch in the back. It is works for the hot weather, but should have spent the money on a better one.
