We supported that bill & helped with the amendment. To my knowledge no landowner has utilized this. Access corridors were a feature of block management for years, albeit slightly used. The bill just brought it back. It was a good effort and Mtbha deserves credit for their work. -

We tend to focus on the current access programs that provide incentives to landowners for allowing access to private land which means our current access efforts are centered around opening private land for hunting opportunities. -

Counterpoint: We have small wilderness areas inside the National Lakeshore which go through swamps, sensitive habitats, etc. The trails in there help ensure the biotic community's resilience. Joe, I wouldn't take the internet as gospel. Might be good to just call the USFWS and make sure you're legal, or if you need a permit you can get it. Because you want a gun, and especially because it's a short barreled shotgun, you will bring attention to yourself. A single shot break open... -

Average/preferred whitetail rifle weight for blind/stand hunting
Nobody needs to see that. It's a fun rifle. Shoots a 350 grain bullet at about 1600 FPS. Drops a whitetail like a hammer drives a nail. The 450 3.25" BPE was considered the 30-06 of it's day. Good all around cartridge.
