    A few areas faired better than others, but not many. The core areas that historically held a lot of moose don't anymore. Better than not going moose hunting, but its going to be tough for a while in many areas. the 40 mile country is a shadow of what it used to be.

    Crappy situation. I know of a few people that had moose seized for being under sized, and later determined they were in fact legal. In the meantime F&G gave the meat away and lost the antlers... could be worse. At least you know where they are.

    The research I did led me down the path to this one as well. A bit nervous leaving the new truck in -20 temps for a few days going on a cabin trip this winter. probably take the jumper to the cabin to keep it warm just in case, if anything I can charge my phone to call a tow truck.
