Closing the loop on this hunt. I was fortunate to take a decent bull on day 3 of this hunt with a lot of luck on my side. Not a big bull by any means but good for this area of the unit. It took a few days to realize the bulls were pretty call shy as the rut was winding down during this time... -

OK, not asking for any help here. I drew the ID unit 41 elk tag and I was just hoping to see some pictures of bulls guys have harvested or seen in the field to wet my whistle. I am getting excited for this one. Let's see em! -

Incorrect, with the general tag we could chase WT and MD both on the same tag. The area we hunt is predominately mule deer; canyon country adjacent to agriculture. We have permission to hunt friends' private farms which is really neat but with few WT it makes it less of an attraction. Not to say...- AK2NV

I guess. I wish they would just say, "check back on Friday when we release the results." And referencing Nevada once again who do it right - NV actually gives everyone a heads up and creates buzz around the results so folks know when to expect the release.
