Wyoming Preference Point Reminder

Just a reminder that if you draw your second choice tag, you no longer get a point automatically, you have to go in and purchase that point. IIRC, that changed two years ago. I forgot about that and went to buy my deer and elk points and saw antelope was also available to buy, even though I drew second choice.

Thanks for clarifying but maybe splitting hairs. Just raising awareness so that folks don't think its automatic.

Just yesterday I purchased myself a deer and elk point, my kid an antelope, deer, and elk point, and my wife a deer point for Wyoming. That deadline is coming soon!

If you don't have mid teens or more right now, don't plan on drawing in the preference point draw in your lifetime. Pray for the random draw.
