I'm trying to apply for my son and I at the same time. My problem arrises when it ask for a party number. I don't seem to have one. I enter the number that was by my app, but it doesn't take that. Do I need to purchase mine first, then go back and enter my son?

Yes. You need to start the party and then apply him using the party # that they'll give you.
