I have rifle hunted region C in northest Wyoming many times, and was thinking about trying archery this fall to beat the crowds, have a go at undisturbed game, and just for something different.

I don't know anything about WY archery regs. Hoping one of you boys can point me in the right direction.

Do you still draw for tags?
When does the season start?
Are all the regions and areas the same as rifle?
Where do I find the regulations and rules regarding WY archery?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Most units in WY have an archery season that starts about 30 days before the rifle season. If you draw a rifle tag for a region, you can then buy an archery license for $25 and hunt in the open archery seasons in that region. If you're unsuccessful you can still hunt during the rifle season. Archery info is on page 10 of the non-res. regulation booklet. It's available on-line at http://gf.state.wy.us/wildlife/hunting/NonResident/index.asp
