My uncle, brother and I were canoeing down the Namekagon River in WI. My brother bounced his head off a hornets nest. I went under it and my uncle brushed it with his face. My brother freaked out and was about to dive in the river while my uncle was hollering profanities at him and something about not jumping in or we would all go in. My brother and uncle both got stung several times. I just set there calm and didn't get bothered. My brother didn't bail...most likely because of the fear of my uncle vs the hornets. That was over 30 years ago but if you ever canoe that River you can still hear the cursing echoing all around! Good times
