Work from Home - How's it Work?

My wife does quite a bit. She’s one of those annoying self driven people though. Has a routine and a list of tasks.

I plan all of my work around screwing off. Lots of times I’ll get up at 2am just to get all my crap done by noon so I can go fishing. I’ll go gangbusters for 6 months so I don’t feel guilty hunting for 2 in the fall. It’s not a recipe for financial stability but that’s overrated anyway.

Sitting around my house left to my own devices would have major negative impacts on myself, family, community, nation, and probably the world.

One thing I do that I did not see here, and I know it might be crazy, but I eat lunch standing up because I sit all day other than at lunch. I can't always get out for a walk...

Get a sit-stand desk. Well worth the money

During the pandemic I worked remotely for awhile.

What worked:
-plan out the day in advance with a task for every hour, plus hourly 10-minute breaks.
-Working lunch, then 30-min exercise at lunchtime.
-work computer and personal smartphone. Landline for work.
