I know what the calendar says but my calendar is dictated by mean temperature. Fall is dictated by burning lodgepole. Winter - which started today - is when I start burning fir and larch. Spring is when I go back to burning lodgepole.

Snuggle up folks. It's cozy time!

Winter is creeping in down here. In the fall, burn spruce, but in the winter it's time for pinon. Moving to a "mix" now, and might just sneak out and get a load of pinon before there's too much snow on the ground.

Going to capitalize on winter to build a .40 flintlock, do a bit of leather and beadwork, and plan on tag applications for '21. Fall still went by too fast.

Winter is when we turn the A/C off and only run it occasionally in Yuma Arizona. I miss the 4 seasons, but its where the job is. It was only 72 today!
