Wild Fire West side of Jarbidge Wilderness.

All of us that hold a tag for this area need to say a prayer that the firefighters can get a handle on this, And say safe. It is located just north of Charleston Reservoir. I was up there 10 days ago Elk scouting and it was very dry.

Yes, it concerns me that NDOW might have to do another depredation hunt with such a big wildfire taking out food sources. I was scouting in Winnemucca about a month ago and those hills to the northeast where in fire. I have not been tracking it but im told its that fire that has moved all the way to Jarbidge area. Half million acres is what a guy from Elko told me. Could be a rough winter for the animals.
