Whiskey Mtn sheep herd Dubois WY

Sorry, didn't see this when I posted my link. This link has some good information in it that mine didn't and mine has some information not in this, so all is good. :geek:

Many years ago, I had a cousin that worked on a dude ranch that was at the base of Whiskey Mountain. I went back to visit one time with him. They let us take horses and ride the mountain "checking on cattle". My cousin took dudes all over those mountains for years, so knew all of trails. We had a blast that day. We rode all over the mountain and rode in among the bighorn ewes and lambs. The big rams were not there, because it was early and also the season was on. The owner of the ranch, was taking out his last sheep hunter. He was real old and hoping to get one more before quitting. I am sure that he is gone, now, but I met him and will never forget that trip.
