Which Stalking Footwear?

I am trying to decide on what stalking footwear I should invest in for archery mule deer for January in NM. These are some options I have considered. I don’t want to break the piggy bank. Give me your opinions.

Sock-shoes are gonna be the lightest and closest thing to barefoot… that’s my vote. Pretty sick actually.

I want something quiet but also that our grass burs and thorns and cactus doesn’t penetrate…although they would remind me to be even quieter

In my mind, a pair of good deerskin moccasins seem like they'd be a good choice. Just don't know how well they would hold up to pokey brush.

I'm looking at the sneak tec or the stalk zone sneakers. I don't like taking my boots off. Has anyone used either of the two?

I have a pair of heavy wool socks in my pack and just put those on for that last part of the stalk. Not the best for cactus but otherwise works well.

I put a 30 min 100yd stalk on a sleeping boar. Got to 15yds and popped it. Its ears were stretched my direction. I just watched where I put my feet and put them down softly and avoided debris.

I think even with these ninja shoes shown here, a twig will still snap, leaves crackle, etc.
