When is the coyote breeding season?

Rabbits still work good, but single shot rifles will tend to piss you off as coyotes are more likely to respond in pairs during that time of year. ( Mid-January to Mid-March )

Just curious, do they pair up with a mate for the season or are the males promiscuous and service lots of females?

I shoot a bolt gun, if I'm lucky I get a decent shot at the second dog (if I fold the first one).

The young are born in April and May, after that you may want to try a pup in distress.

The breeding season is at the end of January through Febuary. And to your ? on pairing up the coyote the male/female mate for life as one couple, if one is killed then they will find a new mate, otherwise they do not breed outside of each other

pups or k-9 pups work and howlers they start covering less and less ground the closer they get to puping and you have to get closer to there home turf
