Yeti GOBOX Collection

What's the best way to ship a rifle?

I have shipped several UPS. You have to go to actual UPS and not a UPS store. Don't need original box, but they want a copy of a FFL license. Bet if the the receiver send request.

I usually buy a cheaper plastic case. I use heavy zip ties on the corners and one around the handle. I then run tape all the way around the case over every hing and then I also tape the handle. I’ve shipped quite a few guns and so far no issues using USPS

I typically ship USPS and I take the barreled action out of the stock, wrap them separately and then put them in the same box.
One reason it doesn't scream "rifle" to all who see it.
I always insure them for the actual replacement value.

Ship in a cheap plastic hardside for sure. Either order a few cases through Walmart, Optics planet, etc which will be delivered to you in cardboard boxes or, buy the cheap case and make a box out of the heavier slip sheets from Costco or a larger cardboard box cut down.
USPS or UPS just make sure you take pictures and insure it.
