What is all this ammo to be used for?

Can someone give me a credible answer as to what this variety and quantity of ammo is destined for? 357,000 shotgun shells, mostly small birdshot, shells for gauges which are only sparsely used (16 & 28)? And what about these; .30 carbine, 7.62x39??? They must be counting on lots of quail and dove shoots, trap/skeet/sporting clays; anyone have any ideas? I didn't add it all up; was almost afraid to know the total.

You might want to check this out on snopes.com. While I am not a big fan of either Barack or Homeland Insecurity, I believe that some of the numbers are off by half a dozen zeroes.
