I'm not much of a person of faith, but I enjoy seeing others share various verses and passages.

My brother, who is a person of faith, has been sharing his thoughts on Facebook as of late and I think it pairs well with the message above.

II Samuel 24:24 Araunah offers King David the land, all the implements, and the animals to sacrifice for free, but David responds: Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing.

Although we live in a society that seemingly values convenience and entertainment above all else, there are things in life that attain their value by having cost. In things that have true worth, there are no shortcuts.
