Verify that you hunt

Would be an interesting poll to run. Users with the highest ratio of political posts to hunting posts. I'm not sure if some of the heavy political posters have ever started a hunting thread.

Start with a thread for nominations, and then after you get a good number of nominations start another thread for the poll.

Make it like a biggest loser contest. The winner gets voted off the island.

That’s a cool buck! He looks old.

I always thought so too. His face was so much more gray than the buck my dad shot the same day. But dad's buck had a much bigger body and longer face.

My son has a Springfield 1903 with peep sights he carries about half the time. He’s trying to draw blood with it.

Elmer Keith wrote about dwarf whitetails here in Montana. I’m not sure what to believe about that but I have seen old, mature bucks that were quite a bit smaller that bucks they were hanging out with. Lots of fun to hunt whitetails in the sage though.

When in doubt, just look back through people’s history. That will tell you whether or not they actually hunt.
