Updating Hunt Maps

I bought a gps with hunt maps a few months ago and need to update my chip. Only problem is I only have the little chip, not the sd card...Never got one. Can I just buy any sd card that the chip fits in or does it have to be the hunt maps one? Thanks guys

Send a note to the maker. If it is the huntingGPSMaps brand, send email query to their cust service address. They are great about responding. Or just call them.

Check out their website. You can mail your MicroSD card to them and they will update it for you. Or if you lost the SD adapter they provide at purchase I imagine you can buy an SD to MicroSD adapter pretty much anywhere.

You can use any SD adapter. Or just leave the chip in your GPS and plug your GPS into your computer. The update will go right through your GPS as well.

thanks a lot guys, so I just do a download online then or do I buy a card at a dealer?

You can purchase an update card at a retailer and then redeem it at our website. Or you can purchase an update for your chip directly through our website. Choice is yours.

Either way will get you to the same spot. It will then be a download through your computer onto the chip that updates the map.

Thanks to onX customer service today. I called in this morning for some help and they were spot on. Now I just need to find the rest of my sd cards before I head out to Wyoming.
