Unit 68/681

I drew a third season deer tag in unit 68/ 681. I will be coming by myself and will be bringing a side-by-side to get in deeper everyday. I am looking for a spot to set up my base camp. I'd like to stay close to better access roads so in case of inclement weather I don't get stuck. Anybody have any recommendations of where. I have found a few possible locations via Google maps but would love any opinions from somebody who has actually been there. Thanks in advance

Have you ever been in the area? That's no gimmie tag, but there are deer to be had. How familiar are you with the units?

i drew a 2nd season tag, never never been to 68 or 681 so it will be a learning experience..any starting points would be great,i heard there are some whopper bucks once in a while,,got a decent buck in 551 a few years back,but am open to any intel on 68,681 i can gain beyond e scouting it.please p m me.thanks
