Unit 55 early or late

So, this season runs Sept 20 to Oct 31. I know they rut earlier, but is there much migration to this unit?

I would like to spend some time picking my way through and maybe get lucky with a bigger than avg buck, but prefer to avoid the crowds of the opener. I am driving 15 hours to hunt there so want to make the best of it.

Also, any places you all recommend for camping out a night or two? or is it worth it since it is close to Rawlins?

Can't help you on the camping spots. Literally any week of the season in that area you are going to be able to get on antelope. Good luck.
