Unit 54 camping

I will be camping somewhere on the south side of unit 54 and I was wondering if firewood is available to be cut and gather or would it be best to bring it with me. I will be hunting during Nov. so Im sure it will be cold and I just want to be prepared. Thanks

you can find some pine on both sides of the northern half of deadline ridge. I'd assume you could find some mahogany on the south end too.
