Ultra Thin Suppressor Covers?

I have a SilencerCo Sythe TI and currently have a ColeTac Python on it. I noticed this hunting season on a few of my rifles that I have a significant part of my view ( maybe 25-30%) is obscured by my can and cover. At the mid Range to high range magnification it’s much better but there is a haze on the lower part.

Does anyone know of an ultra thin suppressor cover that might help my situation with buying new rings? I’m not concerned about heat as much since it’s for my bolt action hunting rifle only. More just looking for a thin cover to protect it from light abrasion. I have gotten a suggestion form a few people LS wild Covers.

I have one from Ls wild on mine. It’s a pita to put on (very tight fit) but doesn’t use buckles or straps so it’s very low profile. I used it all season between 2 rifles with no issues

Yeah I have definitely thought about leaving it off. Just want a little bit of protection against abrasion

I get mirage after a handful of shots through a bolt action…
If your hog hunting, I get it… but deer, pronghorn and elk shouldn’t require multiple shots where mirage would be an issue.

The shooting range is a different matter. However if you’re heating up that much, you’re going to affect your accuracy anyways.

The ls wild covers seem fine, I don’t have much use on mine yet though. Worrying about abrasion is kind of odd. Do you cover your barrel to protect it from abrasion? Could just use some vet tape for that?

I have burn proof gear and can chaps covers as well and they are relatively low profile. Neither is the lightest.

Higher scope rings helps too.

If a barrel isn’t defective mechanical accuracy should be fine well into the point that mirage starts making things more difficult even with a cover. I take the cover off a lot of the time when hunting though too.
