Looks like I better get off the injured list. :eek: Anyone have any advice on hunting goats in the AB wilderness?

Get in the best shape that you can achieve. Hunting mountain goats is not easy or for the faint of heart. Do lots of cardio training and hiking up and down hill. Do lots of extreme up hill and down hill shooting. FW&P will send you a video for identification of goats. You are in for the hunt of your life. Have a great adventure! MTG
 
congrats! I have spent a lot of time in a couple of the units down there, if you drew one that I am familiar with I could give you a few places t o check out.
 
Looks like I will have 0 days for scouting thanks to my job, so heres an open invite for any of the hunt talkers that like grizzly bears and high country. Fair warning though, my foot is pretty ganked up and if I dont get a cortizone shot before the hunt Ill probally be slow and sipping crown on the hike in.
