Yes, it is my buck. What kind of question was that? I shoot a nice buck like this about every four years or so. Remainder of the time I nail forkies and does. The real trophy is on the dinner plate.
The scope is a Simmons Pro Hunter 2X-7X from cheaperthandirt.com. Paid about $65. for it last summer. I love it.
The carbine is a Glenfield model 30GT made by Marlin. Says so on the barrel. It's a very good 30-30 which groups the first two bullets from a cold barrel nearly touching each other at 100 yards. Favored ammo is Remington 150 grain core-lockt.
I shot this muley in the neck at about 125 yards or so. He never knew what hit him. We BBQ'd shish-kabob made from his tenderloins the next day. Ever BBQ outdoors in single digit weather? Tastes great.
