Yes please! That or Sako would be a great brand match from my perspective.

No offense to you @Big Fin or Howa, but this is a positive development in the long run imo. Never crazy about their rifles.

Whoever you partner with will experience an uptick in sales worthy of their investment.

I would like to think so. If not, then they shouldn't make the investment in our platforms.

The management team at Legacy Sports, who I worked with closely, has been our signing our praises to other rifle companies. That speaks to the quality of the people I worked with at Legacy. Their talking point on our behalf has been ....... that as the firearms industry has seen a steep slide in rifle sales over the last three years, especially in the hunting rifle category, Howa has had to take backorders on their hunting rifles. In their kind way, they have told the other companies that they attribute their robust hunting rifle sales to our platforms. Hard to ascertain if that is/isn't true, but it is very professional of them to be our advocate when talking to others in the industry.

Both the girls have Howa Super-lite rifles. I'm "Meh" with both of them.

They are light (and that's why we bought them) but that is about all I can say for them.

They are NOT Browning quality and certainly not Browning accuracy.

One thing I can say about them is that they are likely the safest gun on planet earth. Your 100% not going to accidentally bump that gun off safety onto the fire position. EVER. lol

I share your view- but if I was a guy that liked to tinker a lot with rifles, their lack of aftermarket options would be kind of a bummer. Tikka and Remington have way more to offer in that world.

Nosler or Weatherby could be great choices.

Well if I had to choose one only to hunt with out of my safe it would be my Nosler 48 Custom in 30 Nosler. Most accurate rifle I have ever shot. A bit much for deer but an elk slayer.

I have a Nosler mountain carbon on my wish list

But the Weatherby's and Brownings in my safe are great too.

Maybe so but I'm not the kind of guy who buys a rifle for $1,000 and then messes with it to make it "better" and I would say that 90% of the hunting market isn't either.

Not really. Like most rifles these days, they are a good rifle, that when set up properly, is more capable than my normal talent level.

Man I have fought with the two Howa's I've got for years. I always thought I was the problem. Changed stocks, bedded, reloaded ammo, factory ammo, the whole shebang.

Bought a .308 Tikka, totally stock, first trip to the range and I shot several different factory loads under an inch.

I usually prescribe to the "it's the Indian not the arrow" philosophy, but I think in this case it really has been the arrows.

Going straight from dogahit to cowpies. Only rifle I ever almost smashed against a tree was a Browning A-Bolt - 100% garbage.

I too hope Sako/Tikka (Beretta?) sees this as a worthy opportunity!

Their ammo is also very accurate in their rifles it seems.

Remi Warren is the only person I can recall seeing use their rifles (the same Sako Carbonlight 6.5CM I eyed for years and finally purchased when found one on sale, pictured below), but in the more recent videos I've seen (which is about 1) it was a different rifle. I think Vortex still uses that rifle with one of their scopes and Remi in their big ad in Bugle, but Sako is never mentioned or advertised.

While I buy rifles I want, I understand the marketing aspect is very real and seems to be lacking with Sako/Tikka in the US.

Let’s not forget to recognize some of the strong American made leaders of the industry - Mossberg, Marlin/Ruger, or Savage.

Maybe looking forward to seeing a head to head review of the Mossberg Patriot vs. savage Axis, each fairly chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.

My next rifle will be a Tikka; accurate out of the box with factory ammo, now threaded 5/8 for cans, and less than $1,000.
